Fei Ding Group news
2019.01.23Entanglement swapping has been successfully demonstrated with entangled photons from semiconductor quantum dots! Many congratulations to Michael. https://arxiv.org/abs/1901.07833
2018.08.01The Q.Link.X Joint Project, follower of the Q.Com Joint Project started with August 1st, 2018.
2018.07.02Finally, our manuscript "Highly efficient extraction of entangled photons from quantum dots using a broadband optical antenna" is accepted in Nature Communications.
2018.05.31Many congratulations to Yan Chen! He finished the journey in our group with "Summa Cum Laude"!
2018.01.06A big congratulation also goes to our former member, Dr. Yongheng Huo, who is also selected by the prestigious "The Thousand Talent Plan (Young Professionals, 青年千人计划) of China" and is now a professor in University of Science and Technology China!
2018.01.05 Our former student Jiaxiang Zhang has been selected by the prestigious "The Thousand Talent Plan (Young Professionals, 青年千人计划) of China" and will become a professor soon. We are so proud of him!

"Temperature-dependent coercive field measured by a quantum dot strain gauge" is just accepted by Nano Letters. Many congratulations to Yan!

Many congratulations to Evgeny on the acceptance of "Measurement of the spin temperature of optically cooled nuclei and GaAs hyperfine constants in GaAs/AlGaAs quantum dots" in Nature Materials.

2017.04.03"Solid-state ensemble of highly entangled photon sources at rubidium atomic transitions" is accepted by Nature Communications. Many congratulations to Robert and Michael.
2017.03.15"Independent tuning of excitonic emission energy and decay time in single semiconductor quantum dots" is accepted by Appl. Phys. Lett. Congratulations to Bianca!
2017.03.02Many congratulations to Prof. Dieter Meschede, a well-known physicist in University Bonn and the speaker of our research consortium Q.COM, takes the position as the president of German Physics Society. I, as a young scientist, benefit significantly from Q.COM in the last years!
2017.02.16"Addressable and Color-Tunable Piezophotonic Light-Emitting Stripes" is accepted by Advanced Materials. Many congratulations, again!, to Yan Chen and Yang Zhang!
2017.01.31"A Flexible PMN-PT Ribbon-based Piezoelectric-Pyroelectric Hybrid Generator for Human-Activity Energy Harvesting and Monitoring" is accepted by Advanced Electron. Materials Many congratulations to Yan Chen and Yang Zhang!
2016.12.20Jiaxiang's nice work on "Electric-field-induced energy tuning of on-demand entangled-photon emission from self-assembled quantum dots" is now accepted in Nano Letters. Many congratulations!!
2016.12.18Due to his great works, Yan received the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Students Abroad!I am very proud as his PhD supervisor!
2016.12.13Many congratulations to the recent paper published by Yang Zhang and Yan Chen in Nano Energy "Scalable single crystalline PMN-PT nanobelts sculpted from bulk for energy harvesting".
2016.11.11We are very very excited about the new results on GaAs/AlGaAs semiconductor entangled photon sources. Nearly 100% of QDs in an as-grown wafer can emit polarization entangled photons, without any post-growth tuning. As also shown in another work by our collaborator in Linz, these sources have potentially very high indistinguishability. Dresden: arxiv.org/abs/1611.03717 Linz: arxiv.org/abs/1610.06889
2016.09.02Today we have the visit of Prof. Gregor Weihs, the vice president of Austrian Science Fund and a well-known physicist in quantum information sciences.
2016.08.30Our work "Monolithically integrated MEMS for on-chip strain engineering of quantum dots" is accepted for publication in Nano Letters. Many congratulations to Dr. Yang Zhang and Yan Chen! http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/acs.nanolett.6b02523
2016.08.29From the 1st of September, 2016, Fei Ding is a W3 Full professor (with tenure) in Leibniz University of Hannover.
2016.08.22The final result arrives! An ERC Starting grant of around 1.77 million Euro will be awarded to Fei. The ERC Grants awarded by the European Research Council are among the most prestigious and competitive European research funding. It will definitely help our team in pursuing our dream.

Fei received a call for a W3 Full Professorship.
