Bringing More Quantum Technology into Application

The clusters4future QVLS-iLabs enters its second phase with €15 million in funding from the German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). The 25 partners of the future cluster — ranging from research institutions to industry and startups — share a common goal: accelerating the transfer of cutting-edge quantum technologies into the market. Prof. Michael Zopf from the Institute of Solid State Physics at the Leibniz Universität Hannover is among the thirteen quantum technology projects receiving the funding. Together with the project partners, the EPIQS subproject is developing technologies and components for highly efficient photonic interconnects for quantum sensors with optical interfaces.
