09.07.2025 Visit of school kids on vacation in the SQO group

The SQO group received a visit from school children during their vacation at a summer camp on July 7, 2025. During the welcome presentation, we were surprised by the children's interest in the topic of semiconductor quantum optics, despite their young age of 8 to 12 years old. Afterwards, we organized lab tours where they got an insight into the labs and the tools used by scientists: Microscopes, lasers, optical components, crystals, liquid nitrogen, ... Finally, the children put their skills to the test by beating the students outside in Viking chess.
