QuantumFrontiers, DQ-mat and QVLS enriched this year’s IdeenExpo (20 June 2026 – 28 June 2026) with their own joint stand on the topic of quantum technologies. Their participation was also aimed at raising the profile of research in this field, thereby sparking enthusiasm among school pupils and adults.
The research group of Prof Ding and Prof. Zopf took part with exhibits on the topical subject of quantum encryption using single photons. This technology is intended to help ensure the security of communications in the age of quantum computers.
