As an early christmas present, on december 21st a number of first-semester physics students had the opportunity to visit the labs of our group. The tour's highlights were a live demonstration of cooling a spectrometer with liquid nitrogen, and an introduction to our home-built BB84 system with a true quantum dot single photon source.
