On Friday, eleven especially physics-interested students from regional high schools got the chance for a close-up visit to our laboratories through the QuantumFrontiers MasterClass programme. The tour's highlights were a live demonstration of cooling a spectrometer with liquid nitrogen, and an introduction to our home-built BB84 system with a true quantum dot single photon source.
