Manuscript accepted for publication in AIP-Advances

The Manuscript "High efficiency grating couplers for strain tunable GaAs quantum dots based entangled photon sources" by Constantin Schmidt et al. has been accepted for publication in AIP-Advances.

In the manuscript, numerical simulations of so-called grating couplers are presented. These are nanophotonic structures in which, for instance, epitaxially grown quantum dots can be embedded to drastically increase their single photon yield. With the novel design presented here, the simulations promise photon transmission efficiencies of over 90%.
