Manuscript accepted for publication in Optics Express

The manuscript "Circular photonic crystal grating design for charge-tunable quantum light sources in the telecom C-band" by Chenxi Ma et al. has been accepted for publication in Optics Express.

The manuscript presents the idea of a novel, circular photonic crystal, which will help with efficiently collecting and emitting single photons emitted by quantum dots in a given direction, where they can then be further analyzed or used for various quantum applications.
The effectiveness of this new approach is corroborated through simulations, which show that the presented design can achieve values of over 90.5% fiber-coupling efficiency for photons at telecommunication wavelengths. Its rotational symmetry facilitates the generation of polarization-entangled photon pairs, and its continuous surface allows for integrating with p-i-n diode structures to improve the coherence of the emitted photons.
